This weekend we did so many things that we could never have done in the apartment. We played loud LOUD music in the basement and acted like the crazy people we really are. We had a fire in the fireplace complete with smoores. And, we planted more than 100 spring flower bulbs. There are no pictures of the planting because we used a power drill to make the holes and ALL the helpers were really involved. But, no one loved the planting as much as Emmett. He kissed each bulb, plunked it down in the ground and said, "night night!" It was crushingly adorable.
Here are some pictures and video of our adventures as a family with a house!
The kids and Ben enjoying their smoores. Love our fancy furniture? A couple of the rooms in the house have absolutely no furniture which is fabulous in my opinion because it means we have acres more space than we used to have. And, no more cramped feel!

Bridget and I cheesing it up in front of the fire.

Emmett is all about his Dada right now so we got a "guys" shot.

What?!? A picture of Ben and I together? You can thank my personal photographer (Henry) for this photo.

My peeps.

Here is Henry playing the song "Black Betty" with Ben. He knows a ton of the song but more importantly he knows one of the first cardinal rules of rock drumming- the parts of music you do not know can be covered up completely by showmanship.
And Miss Bridget who unfortunately will only drum with her shirt off. Where does this come from?!?
Emmett dancing. I LOVE the way this kid dancing. And you can see the wreckage of a really good time in the background.
Woohoo!
