When Henry's Away.....

Now that Henry is in school 5 mornings a week Bridget and Emmett and I have been enjoying doing all of the things that Henry has never been interested in doing. For instance, this week we went to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Bridget was none too interested in many of the paintings but really enjoyed the sculptures and the modern art. Emmett loved, loved, loved the museum. He really liked declaring them "spooky" or "not-spooky" and shouting (oh yes, shouting) things like, "eeeewww, gross one" or "that lady is nakie!" But, he really loved all the colors and walked through the whole thing absorbed in the art.

We have been playing a lot of dress up and pretend play while Henry is at school. Henry would never keep Emmett from being a princess but he might take his crown away and wear it himself.
With Henry at school Emmett has also had time to take care of his many babies. This is Lucy getting some quality time and attention.
Those babies love their bottles.
Bridget and Emmett and I had a tea party (or 11 tea parties) and apparently her "friends" were lonely last night so she put 5 of them into her footed jammies. That could not have been comfortable.
Henry really seems to hate art. But, when he is at school its art-o-rama! Here is Bridget with her wall of art.
And, in case you didn't notice, Bridget got an adorable short haircut. Check out the rock chic!
The most interesting thing is how Emmett and Bridget's exploration when Henry is at school has effected our activities when Henry gets home. Now that Bridgie and Emmie like something Henry is willing to give it another try. Amazing!
