Cleveland Zoo
Today was free day at the Cleveland Zoo so we went to check it out. This zoo is HUGE and reminds me tremendously of Brookfield Zoo. It was very nice and had beautiful habitats for the animals but each animal was a mile apart. It was a big, long walk.

Miss Bridget scaling the wall. We were a 20 minute walk from the next animal.
hee hee. The zoo is funny.
There was this ginormous walkway that promised us access to, "monkeys, lions, and aquatic animals." Liars. It was a 3/4 of a mile to the top and an elevation change of 80 feet. Let me tell you - the climb was NOT worth it. We saw 1 tank of piranhas and a lemur before we nearly passed out and started back to the car.
Here I am pushing the kids up. This absolutely counted as my cardiovascular exercise for the day. And maybe for tomorrow as well.

Now I know to say NO when you ask if I want to go to the zoo with you. That is usually my answer anyhow. The animals were smart enough to hide from the heat. Glad you all had a good time.
