Busy Bees!

We have been busy bees lately. This week, the heat has been difficult. So, we were on the hunt for air conditioning. During our search we found The Western Reserve Historical Museum - a hidden gem!!!

Here are the kids with a Delorian. Yes, a Delorian. The museum had so many beautifully restored cars and carriages.
I want this. Apparently it was sold in FAO Schwartz and runs on batteries. Why don't they still make this?!?
Remember when every seat had an ashtray? Henry was appalled.
And the seatbelts! Each kid took approximately 2 seconds to buckle up. This would add YEARS to a mother's life. Of course, they also UNbuckled very easily so it might be a toss up. And then there is that whole safety thing...
They had a cool old town street with shop windows. All inside - in the air conditioning!
This was the antique they were allowed to sit in. Check out high up and exposed the kids are.
This is a model of the Tinkerbell.
Cozy Coupe play area!
Civil War battle flags. "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" was stuck in my head for the whole day.
The kids love Abraham Lincoln. Here they are comparing their height to his. Look at silly Emmett.
Super Silly.
They even had a kid play area with building sets, a historical section...the list goes on and on! This is truly a hidden gem of Cleveland.
