This summer has been wonderful in unexpected ways. The goal this summer was to relax, stay loose and be open to new things. One day we went on an adventure out to Mosquito Lake to fish. All was fun and games until Henry dropped his beloved binoculars into the lake near the boat launch. Ben tried to retrieve it with his fishing pole while Henry got a big (BIG) stick to dig it out. When he was walking back he was paying more attention to the stick than the dock and fell right in. He treaded water and came to the edge and we pulled him out of the absolutely appalling and disgusting water. Adventure indeed.
On the way home we saw a sign for free kittens. Why not? Ben called and 5 minutes later we had a 6 week old male kitten in our car. He fits right in with this motley crew. We all (including Muppet) love him.
