There has certainly been a lot of fun happening at our house.  In between the fun the children have achieved a level of nudging for things (cups of milk, help finding items that they lost, play a game, go outside, go inside, another cup of milk because the other one is hot) that boarders on mastery.  They are like little tiny demanding chickens pecking at us.  Then, they pull it all together and are great fun again.  This proves my theory that mentally healthy children will only push you to the edge of insanity - not right over it.

This last week we enjoyed the odd early arrival of spring.  A lake near Bridget's school was too beautiful to not enjoy so Emmett, Bridget and I had a picnic there after school.

Bridget climbed the trees and collected beautiful flowers.

Emmett smacked the flowers out of the trees.

Bridget conducted the bells playing from a local church.  I really loved how she would crouch down and then spring up onto her toes.  See her left hand - she is shouting for, "More Woodwinds!!!"

Emmett ran from me to the edge of the water again and again.  Yucky, stinky, goose poop-filled water.

Gorgeous!

A lady even took a picture of us!
